Foreign Students All international students should get registered online on the prescribed application forms to the University available at www.uac.edu.pk/admission. Candidates must forward their applications in time to ensure that the applications are received in the University by the due date. Admission Form The students interested for the Admission in University in undergraduate Degree Program are required to fill the Application Form for Admission on a single category from three of following: Learn-Earn-Return (LER) Fee Paying Program Regular Fee Paying Program Full Fee Paying/Self Finance Program Fee Structure Fee Structure for Undergraduate Programs Tuition fee and other charges: Unless otherwise stated, the fees and other charges are not refundable even if the students withdraw from the University or are struck off the University rolls. Absence from the University will not be accepted as an excuse for non-payment of dues, fees shall be charged on the basis of the respective financial year on a monthly or half yearly basis. The hundred percent attendances are mandatory for the students who are enrolled in University through Learn-Earn-Return (LER) Fee Paying Program or Full Fee Paying/Self Finance Program, wherein seventy five percent attendances are mandatory for students who are enrolled in the University through Regular Fee Paying Program. Fee Structure Admission fee Rs. 15,000 one time Registration fee Rs. 02,000 one time University Security (refundable) Rs. 02,000 one time Library Security (refundable) Rs. 03,000 one time Total Admission Fee Rs. 22,000/- (Twenty Two Thousand Only) Tuition fee Rs. 03,000 per month Micselleanous fee Rs. 03,000 per month Permonth Fee Rs. 6,000/- (Six Thousand Only) NOTE: Self Finance students will pay all charges/fund other than tuition fee. They will pay Lump sum amount of Rs. 250,000 for four year program and Rs. 300,000 for five years program against tuition fee in advance with admission form. Any error or omission in above could not be claimed as right by the candidate and will settle at the time of deposit.
Registration First year foundation course students are required to register at the beginning of the academic year. Failure to complete registration formalities at the appropriate time, including payment of tuition fee and charges, may lead to cancellation of the University enrolment. At registration all students are issued a student identity card and student lockers, which are available in the University. Student Identity Cards All regular students of the University are issued identity cards upon their enrolment in the first year; students obtain identity cards from the University office. Identity cards are renewed at the commencement of each academic session. If an identity card is lost, a duplicate can be obtained. On any account identity cards must be returned to the University office by the students when leaving the University, otherwise their refundable securities shall be forfeited. Hostel Hostel Accommodation is available upon request. Hostel Fee information and challan can be obtained from the Accounts Section of the University. The following are applicable to all students: Students applying for the undergraduate degree program must convince the University of their ability to pay the fee or sign the affidavit of Learn-Earn-Return (LER) fee paying program. Students applying for the full fee paying/ self finance program must submit the fee in shape of pay order after successful admission in the University. The University reserves the right to make changes in the fee structure at any time. The University prefers to offer the admission on priority to Learn-Earn-Return (LER) fee paying program.
Allocation of Seats In accordance with the policy with respect to admission in national institutions, 30 number of intake in each degree course are allocated to applicants from various areas of the Country. Separate seats are provided for candidates from foreign countries. Admission to the University for foreign nationals is processed by the University through Higher Education Commission (HEC). A total of 10 seats are reserved for foreign candidates. Admission Procedure The University grants equal opportunities to women and men who possess exceptional aptitude for the visual arts education. The University does not discriminate against admission for physically challenged persons. The University conducts admission tests which are held at its main campus. Candidates wishing to join the department of fine art and faculty of design are required to obtain high grades in the drawing and aptitude tests. Candidates wishing to apply for the department of architecture are required to pass an examination in mathematics in addition to drawing and aptitude tests. Those wishing to apply for the department of cinematic art will be required to take an aptitude test regarding history and literature. Only those candidates are eligible to take the admission that has passed the Higher Secondary/Intermediate Examination or its equivalent from any recognized institution. Applying for Admission All Candidates shall apply on the prescribed Application for Admission Form through online www.University.edu.pk/admission or on hard copy available from the University or as advertised. Outstation candidates should request Application for Admission Form through registered book post addressed to the Registrar of the University. International students should send the appropriate number of international reply coupons to receive the prospectus by airmail. Attested Photostat copies of the following documents must accompany the Application for Admission: 1. Secondary School Certificate or its Equivalent 2. Higher Secondary/ Intermediate School Certificate or its Equivalent 3. Marks Certificate (s) 4. Domicile Certificate 5. National Identity Card or B-Form 6. Two passport size recent photographs 7. Bank draft where applicable NOTE: Candidates granted admission shall be required to submit other documents as directed, before registration/enrolment in the 1st year-Foundation Course.
